The core business of the company lies within the spheres of various service lines including event management such as implementation of extensive sets of trainings in a wide range of areas in socio-economic cohesion as well as Project Cycle Management, organization of seminars and conferences, provision of translation services,organization of study visits to EU Member States and grant scheme management, among others.
Project Group focuses on the approximation of Turkish legislation with the Acquis Communautaire regarding social policies through capacity building of public institutions within the scope of Turkey’s accession to the EU. Project Group has considerable expertise in management consultancy providing social, technical and capacity building activities. In this framework, Project Group specializes in event organization, training delivery, and production of visibility materials. Project Group Consultants holds specific expertise of more than 10 years in grant scheme management, monitoring and evaluation. Examples of ongoing and recently completed projects in which Proje Group Consultants have been involved:
 Technical Assistance for Supporting the Municipalities of Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa and Erzurum for the Solution of Economic and Social Integration Problems: Project adapting a multi sectoral approach at local level, aiming to mitigate adverse effects of migration for the first time in Turkey (EKOSEP): EKOSEP, focuses on the elements of inequality, social policies and capacity building related especially to regional development. This is a technical assistance project with the aim of solving the problems in 4 cities caused by continuous migration from rural areas to urban areas. Project Group supports to organize and deliver trainings, and visibility items.
Technical Assistance for Promoting Civil Society Dialogue between the EU and Turkey: The project comprises of management with focus on monitoring of 4 grant scheme programmes - universities, municipalities and NGOs/CSOs including professional organizations and youth-related agencies and associations. Around 120 grant projects with a total value of 20M EURO are being supported and technical assistance will be provided to the programme beneficiary, Secretariat General for EU Affairs. The project also involves increasing the awareness and publicity of the role the civil society and the challenges and opportunities of accession.
Technical Assistance for Strengthening Social Dialogue, for Innovation and Change in Turkey: The project included capacity improvement component and the implementation of a grant scheme component. Within the scope of the Capacity Building of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, in depth analysis of Turkish society’s perspective and capacity of being organized especially among social partners which are core elements of CSOs/NGOs in Turkey was carried out under the grant scheme component, extensive training programmes and conferences in and study visits to EU member states, media and public relations campaign aiming at raising awareness among social partners and stakeholders was implemented.
